We will guide you through the process of creating your very own cutting garden - from seed to vase. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this workshop will leave you equipped and excited to grow your own patch of beauty at home.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

After a warm welcome and farm tour, each participant will head to a workstation equipped with everything needed to plan and start their own 6'x4' cut-flower patch.

Through live demonstrations, hands on activities, and group discussion participants will learn:

• The basics of cutting garden design and plant selection

• How annuals complement perennial gardens

• The most common seed-starting mistakes and how to avoid them

• The secrets of how to get more flowers from your plants

• The trick to getting blooms all season long

• My go-to method for battling pests

• The key to arranging your fresh flowers and how to make them last in the vase

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

• A pre-cut, pre-burned piece of weed-suppression landscape fabric with planting holes for 20 plants + earth staples, and support netting

• A mix of annual plants, Dahlia tubers, and seeds + seedling tray and humidity dome

• Garden gloves and flower food packets

• Expert guidance on maintaining your garden, harvesting blooms, and creating beautiful arrangements
